EMTERPRISE BRIEFING

    Gezhouba Holding Company Cement Plant built in 1971 is a member of state-owned holding enterprise.The plant is located in the western skirts of Jingmen, Hubei Province.

    The plant covers an area of 2,874,400 square meters.The main mineral ore possesses abundant and high grade limestone which provides the reliable raw material resources for producing high-quality cement.The railway and road in the plant are connected with Jiaozhi Railway and Changjing Railway longitudinally running through China,YiHuang Highway,207 Country Road and special road from Jingmen to Three Gorges.The traffic and transportation is very quick and convenient,with the hub of transport——Xiangfan to the North;Jingzhou to the South ,facing to Yangtze River;nine provinces,thoroughfare——Wuhan running through the East and "Pearl City"Yichang to the West.

    The enterprise has two wet process producing lines with rotary kiln Ø3.5*145M and precalcining dry process producing lines of 700 tons,2000 tons and 2500 tons clinkers per day.The enterprise has an outputs 3,000,000 tons annually. Also the enterprise is runing a residual heat power plant of two sets

of 12MW generator group as well as ten grinding branch plants.The produced"Three Gorges"brand cement consists of two series.Special cement:525 Moderate heat Portland Cement, 425 Low heat Portland Slag Cement,525 and 425 High and Moderate Sulphate-resistance portland Cement, 525 and 425 Sulggish Distention Moderate heat and low heat Portland Cement, 525 and 425 Portland Cement for road, oil well Cement of Grade A,D and G,Ultra fine Cement(incl.ultra Cement and improved ultra cement),slag powder of Guade S105, S95, S75, ultra slag powder and limestone powder o etc. General cement includes:Portland Cement of Grade52.5, Common Portland Cement of Guade 62.5, 52.5 and 42.5, Slag Portland Cement of Grade 52.5,42.5, Compound Portland Cement of Grade 42.5 and 32.5 etc.

    The enterprise is managed according to International ISO9000 Quality System and has achieved certificates of quality system and of product quality,Using the products,a great number of state important water power engineering were successfully built,such as Gezhouba engineering, and Three Gorges water conservancy pivot engineering, The products are widely used for high buildings, Yangtzeriver Bridge, highway,airports,port docks,culverts,dam for preventing flood and other civil construction, even having been sold far to Southeast Asian countries,

    Technicians take a proportion of thirty percent of the whole employees, The enterprise is developing rapidly at twenty-five percent per year since 1990s, and is regarded as"The Biggest Base of Producting Special Cement in China",and has already squeezed in the row of top ten strongest cement enterprises in China.
